ive seen a few fat truck drivers in my time but not one that weighs 18 ton

ha ha… there’s a first time for everything.

you’re not getting much response.
change your research to 40-44 ton artics. you’ll get more responses.

The models/engine combinations you mention are quite rare, the vast majority of 18t wagons have 250hp engines at the most. I can’t think of any bosses who would pee diesel away by acquiring a fleet of 400bhp 18 tonners - a great shame as they’d be fun to drive :frowning:

Closest I have got is an 18ton Volvo FM with a 290 engine. That is more than on top of the job. Agree with the comments above, there will be very few chassis with such high engine output!

I drive a 310 CF75 regularly. They only bought it as they wanted to cut down on drivers having their breaks before they got to the trunk hub!

Devastated they were when they found it was limited to 52 when all the others are 56!

Pulls well though, even if they do load it right to the limits.

Hello all, nice to hear form you. Our client is specifically looking at these engine sizes, so I had thought they might be difficult to locate. Thank you so much for the comments and feeback, really appreciate it.
