what happened to these companies ? I know Paconsa became Primo Frio ?
Passed Transfrimurs yard today…deserted, looks as if it has been for a while,they were a big outfit
Transfrimur has gone ? 
They had quite a few wagons. Maybe it was changing to Renaults that did it. ? 
Paconsa have changed names to Primafrio, probably another tax dodge as they are something to do with property developer in murcia!
Its no great loss though as they didn’t exactly have a good reputation and not many spanish drivers either.
Transfrimur had all their trailers re-liveried into a hire companies name but can’t remember which one, but just down the road is fridge company with all new renaults and lots of their old trailers and daf dealer next door with all their old trucks 
a lot of their work now being done by HAMM trucks from germany?
Transfrimur got taken over by Transmeditteranea a couple of years ago about the same time as they took Olloquiegui over then it appears that they just let it run down, if the place is used at all these days then it will only be for repairs and refuelling

Yeh, I remember seeing all the Paconsa Trailers there last year, jammed packed it was, thats the name of the company , Ofrisa, the other one is Argos SA, near SOR / Mirofret and now Schmitz depots.
There were some DAFS on show there the other day.

Transmed bought Transfrimur did they ?. Didn’t Transmed also buy Carillo ?. Surprised that now Acciona own Transmed they are running down transport companies, haven’t they been building up a big logistics business ? . What happened to the big fridge haulier who owned the Volvo dealerships in Andalucia ?. they always semed a well run company but haven’t seen them around for a while. Who are the major companies doing the canaries business these days ?.

They did indeed buy Carillo, basically they bought Carillo just as they had the monopoly on the Spanish-North African ferry runs and needed to buy Carillo in order to ensure that the ferries were full, it was a couple of years later that they then bought up Olloquegui and Transfrimur and probably a couple more that I missed somewhere.
I can answer some of my own questions now. It’s Mazo who do a lot of the canaries business, isn’t it ?. Carrion was the big fridge company i was thinking of. They had the Veinsur dealerships. Are they still going, don’t seem to see so many of them now.

Carrion had/has the Veinsur concessions Veinsur is still going strong but not seen either a Mazo or a Carrion truck in ages
saw a mazo truck yesterday on the ruta de la plata ugliest colour scheme ever!!! no idea what they put on log book to describe it i think nearly every panel was different!
