Saw these pics posted on Facebook today after a Spar driver deliving to Saltburn tried to get under a low bridge! What do you think the repercussions will be when he gets back to his yard?
He needs to stop and take the bits of then park up in the yard and keep his mouth shut no one will notice.
He could just say:- “I was possessed by an Agency Driver”, that’ll get him of the hook.

He should stick to driving, he’s a [zb] scaffolder

It could be or it could just be the camera angle. He drove straight under it, apparently he didnt see the 3 height indicators before you reach the bridge.

Lucky they hadn’t given the dozy sod a 16 footer then in the old days it was generally only the bus drivers who got changed from Single to double deckers who hit bridges.

We’ve got units that are a foot higher than some of our trailers with the deflectors.
Well if he worked at our place there would be an investigation and he would be duly be disciplined and be very lucky to escape with his job. If he had a previously clean record then he might get away with a final written warning. If he had current active sanctions for vehicle damage he would be down the road.
Maybe the bridge came down & hit the trailer…
I would say I parked up and some youths tried to break into my trailer with a tin opener
Duck tape will fix that.

Kind of Magnetic tape will reduce radar dunno if it would work…
if they changed the ad on the trailer to official sponser to john west sardines they could keep the curly roof, and maybe fit a key to it
