P&H (Palmer & Harvey), Haydock

Got an induction next week for this lot.

Anyone know what the induction entails?

Counting to three and smashing a cornetto on your forehead.

Anyone else?

Do you not think my advice is any good?

I heard in a RDC that it was drop trousers, self lube, bend over an wait, or urinate in a bottle cos they’re going to take it.

What you Will need to do is find the most comfortable place to get a good grip on your phone

And hit your self over the head with it

I would guess it involves a bit of driving .a few questions on hours bit of H&S and a brew

What do you think it would consist of? Playing X-box and drinking cheap beer

No idea. Never had one before. Cheers for the heads-up.

Its hard work as what I’ve gathered from here. Pretty sure there is a thread in the Newbie section that is more informative than here.

Without reading that thread (just about to) I suspect it’s a pretty ■■■■ job. Tues - Sat, 6am starts (5.30 on sat) and very high turnover of staff according to the agency.

Temp to perm though and I really need something meaty to put on my CV as a newbie.

I think most of us on here did time on food service as something to put on the cv as a newbie. Just use it as experience and keep a look out for other jobs at the same time.
