Own up

Who was it?

Rather sad and pathetic thing to watch especially considering what it was over.
I occasionally get irritated by other drivers while driving but 99% of the time I just don’t give a crap and just keep plodding along listening to some random audiobook unless there is something decent on the radio.

a non white cabbie in bradford…could be millions to chose from.
and a black daf…could be one of howdens agency cabbages…could be millions to chose from…

Just desserts for the taxi driver…that`ll teach him.

The Sun calls him a ‘‘trucker’’ it’s a bloody glorified wheel barrow he’s driving.
Using that word just tars the rest of us with the same brush, there are enough of ‘our own’ chimps bringing the rest of us down into disrepute without some ■■■■ puddle jumper pilot starting… :bulb:

What a prick. :unamused:

adds to my theory about drivers of very large vans and very small lorries

Grant Mitchel vs paddy Doherty

I learn’t a long time ago that punch up’s are not worth it,i was involved in a road rage incident a few years ago when in my thirties,i offered a bloke out of his car cos he kept tailgating me, i had just done a 13 hr shift and wanted a nice cruise home, next was a horn behind said car,i looked and it was a police car,i thought oh sxxt and walked back to my car but we were both stopped by the police, the two officers dealt with each of us my one asking what the problem was,i explained the situation and the officer said something about road rage,i explained I wasn’t going to hit him I just wanted verbal, what he said next is what hit home,he explained to me '‘what if the other driver got out with a knife,we could be dealing with something more serious right now’'such was my temper I never realised at the time but he was right 100%,i was sent on my way while they dealt with the other driver, not worth it in them days let alone now, that taxi driver could well have pulled a knife on the truck driver.

your point being■■?

I’ve worked with plenty of lads who’d think nothing of getting out the cab and battering someone , one firm it was a regular occurrence , one was on gonerby road and started with car driver giving our lad the finger , it ended up with bloke getting hit and his mrs traumatised , our lad drove to yard and coppers arrived , lad completely lost it and was telling coppers who wanted him out to come and try and get him out , lad was well known round town , boss was , he’d been away for gbh so eventually the copper antagonising lad backed off , boss talked sense into lad and he spent night in cells , refusing to speak to them as on rest :unamused:
Also had another one who battered a car driver at Radcliffe on Trent who got out to him , our lad had his mrs with him who was kicking ■■■■ out bloke as well
Good lads who’d do anything for you including battering your neighbour ( thanks for the offer but I’ll sort problem ) but they were head cases , boss was as bad , been away for gbh , went out for a xmas drink and me and John ■■■■■■ off on our own in the end as they just wanted to fight everyone / anyone , I never minded a fight but this was just bloody stupid , they were just looking for it
They were the worst but over the years they were far from the only ones , that said ive sympathy for the innocent car driver /,the traumatised wife but some car drivers go looking for it and find it , not all lorry drivers are saints, there’s some real head cases out there
Zb me I must be getting old , years ago I’d think nothing of doing the same as them , now I’m calling them head cases , I guess it’s called growing up , some don’t :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:

I’ve never been one to shun away from a bit of aggravation, but really? …getting out of your cab and chucking punches? :unamused:
I was told a long time ago when I was a cocky young kid working in a holiday camp nite spot, by a guy much wiser than me, never to pick a fight, or end up in that situation unless you knew a little about the guy facing you, otherwise you can get a ■■■■ big reality check. :bulb:
He could be anybody, champion in his weight boxer, ex Special Forces, or just some downright unbalanced head ■■■■, who could put a knife in your chest as a first option.
Better to try and diffuse a situation if you find yourself in it, on the other hand if it’s unavoidable and all else fails, make sure you get the first knock in and make it a good one.

There was an SAS guy on the tv one night who said he can walk into any rough arsed pub anywhere in the country full of hard cases, knowing that he could…as he put it ‘‘Take anyone down’’ but if someone had a go he would go all out to prevent a confrontation…that is the difference between somebody with a brain and somebody who will inevitably get a ■■■■ good pasting one day by giving it large to the wrong guy. :bulb:

Also can I just say those two ■■■■ whits scrapping like kids should have joined forces and rammed that phone straight up that guy’s tunnel. :smiling_imp:

Has Ronny Pickering started truck driving?

I think he’s a lorry driver now, and tips out at Tesco Reading RDC a lot, I see him there quite a bit - chatty bloke.
