After watching the brilliant documentry from the 80’s that Man Rules found, I found this one about Owens Transport, obviously one part of a series. It does lack the drama of it’s more famous rivals series though. 
I worked for Owens for about 18 months, and I know most of the guys in that film. Can’t quite work out how the hell they managed to get a film crew into Big Mick’s cab, the amount of grub and junk he used to have in there would’ve filled one of Pat Hasler’s Yank sleepers never mind a bloody Globetrotter! 
Is that the same big mick that used the same basin to dump in as he used to wash dishes? And had full ■■■■ bottles on top bunk. ■■

Being a “Sais” they used to send me over the border, probably in the hope that I’d stay there!

I’ve got the whole series on DVD somewhere (got it off a truckersworld member who used to drive for them) but i cant find it…if i do i find it i will do you a copy if you like.
