Any of you lads on here?
Was wondering how Mike is after the wagon turning over in Harthill services the other morn.
heard mike fractured his collar bone, owens flew him back to bristol airport where he was picked up and taken home, apparently he parked between two fridges for shelter (the lesser of two evils)but the fridges both left in the early hours leaving him exposed to the elements.
Thanks for that.
He was actually parked 1st in line, then me and then John Raymonds.I was parked up for my 9 hours but it was too bloody rough so moved further down the line to get shelter from other wagons. Ten minutes later he tipped over and I had to take a lump hammer to the windscreen to get to him.
Glad he’s ok and fair play to Owens if they paid for a helicopter to take him to Bristol.

Oh dear who’s paying for the windscreen
Shhhh
bloody hell, blew over stationary in the services.
As true as I sit here.
It’s made me slow down in the wind I tell you.
Crikey one minute fast asleep, next minute down in the footwell with a cool box for a hat! thinking **** me this dreams a bit vivid. And the realization it’s not a dream as you are dragged through a broken screen in your underpants.
Get well soon I hope Owens look after you.

well done to you, mike told the workshop manager from newport who picked him up from the airport that a driver had used a sledge hammer to smash the wind screen ,it was a scheduled flight that flew him to bristol.spoke to the w/shop manager this morning,he said that windscreen was fitted two week’s ago
.
And what about the broken mirror?
You on for Owens?
ShropsBri:

it dosent seem slowing down is going to help you if he blew over while asleep in the services.

No, but it’s got to be better than going over at 50 mph
