Lorry carrying 200 pigs overturns on A59 near Poppleton
A lorry carrying 200 pigs has overturned on a North Yorkshire road after it collided with another lorry and a car.
A number of pigs escaped on to the road after collision on the A59 Roman Road, near Poppleton, police said.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash happened at about 10:20 GMT. Nobody is believed to have been injured.
BBC Travel said the road has been closed between Station Road and the Poppleton roundabout.
poor wee piggys…this little piggy went to market…or rather it didn’t…watching plod catch them may be good fun though,or even better watching hato try to help them…
