Lorry carrying 200 pigs overturns on A59 near Poppleton
A lorry carrying 200 pigs has overturned on a North Yorkshire road after it collided with another lorry and a car.
A number of pigs escaped on to the road after collision on the A59 Roman Road, near Poppleton, police said.
North Yorkshire Police said the crash happened at about 10:20 GMT. Nobody is believed to have been injured.
BBC Travel said the road has been closed between Station Road and the Poppleton roundabout.
