Tell them to ■■■■ off. DAF won’t let you set more than 60 on the overrun for hill descent and mine does a sterling job of holding it at 60 down Windy Hill in 11th with full weight on so no speed limits have been broken = no offence = tell the pointy shoes to ■■■■ off or go work at a proper company.

What is the tachograph flashing at you? If it’s recorded an overspeed the tacho display will say overspeed. It won’t record an overspeed until you’ve exceeded the trigger speed set for more than 30 seconds.
96km/h is right on the 60MPH limit though. Surprised yours doesn’t do it until 96kph, the ones I drive do it at 92, 93.

I havent had it flashing because ive tried to be careful to avoid the overspeed infringement.It was just that tiny white light by the speedo

Overspeeding isnt illegal, if they want to give you a bollicking find another job, apparently theres plenty about

Pull you in and do what exactly? It’s a drivers market mate. They certainly ain’t gonna sack you for keeping within UK speed limits. Just smile and say “ yeah, whatever”.

This ^ or when they ask you to sign for them, ask them what law has been broken and what offence(s) committed. Oh and could you put them in writing please, for my records. When they’ve furnished you with the list of offences committed, then you can think about signing. Until then, moaster’s “yeah whatever” seems as good a response as any. Grow a pair.
