Overnight Parking

Hi folks,

Just had a quick glance at the overnight truckstop forum. Very helpful!

How about we have a section about where NOT to park. These days it’s either your diesel, your load, your wagon or you they’re after so how about a list of “no go” areas? Or even about where there used to be parking but not any more.

I think this would be especially useful for newbies as a quiet looking industrial estate may turn out to be the worst place in the world to be for any driver.

quite an easy one is anywhere above newark to north of wetherby on the A1 take your chances on those laybys.

In the UK, anywhere North of The Lizard and South of John o’ Groats is likely to a dodgy place to park.
