Overnight parking in Bridgend

Just wondered if anyone knows of any decent parking spots in Bridgend?

If I’m round that way I park up in porthcawl on the sea front, a lot nicer than Bridgend and only 5-10 min drive away.

Just be careful on Bridgend industrial estate as apparently the diesel borrowers are in operation there…

The one and only time I had diesel stolen was in Cardiff parked on Ocean way, I’ve never been bothered anywhere else in the country I hope it’s not a welsh thing :confused:

You can park at the Lidl RDC which is next to the Ford factory.

Another vote for Porthcawl here. But don’t bother trying it during school summer holidays.

Next to harmon kardon factory bridgend ind est,the road up the side is dead quiet,if your hungry chinky take away and greasy spoon 2 mins walk away :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

I’m thinking of giving Porthcawl at try hopefully it’ll be diesel thief and suicide free :slight_smile:

The front next to the fun fair is.the best it will be blowing a gale so buy a kite !!! The cabin pub just been done out by the entrance to the fair 2 pound a tinny :laughing:

Just as a matter of interest are there any owd uns on here that remember the pub you could park nr.,think it was on a small ind est.on the right coming into b/end from Cardiff,had some good nights there,good food,for the life of me I cant remember the name.late 70s early 80s.

Porthcawl it is then! The winds not to bad at the minute.

Not a bad view from hotel d’scania either, reminds me of home!

Iirc the pub was The Pied Piper. Just off the roundabout. Parked in the square at the side of yhe pub. You could get your tea and a tart in there… allegedly :wink:
