Can anyone currently logged on help: I’m based in B’ham, going to Barrow tomorrow evening. Unusually, I’ll be tipping at 8pm, so I’m stopping out for the night. Anyone know of anywhere near Barrrow that’s good to park up for the night?
Should I just head back to the M6 for Truckhaven?
I’d rather not, as I’ll probably have a backload out of Barrow Thursday morning.
tipping at 8pm you may be too late and it’s full but: as you come into town on the a595 (?) to the island with macdonalds on your right (town centre straight ahead) turn right as though you’re going to VSEL and walney island and there’s a layby/sidestreet on your left about 200yds up there, the pub 5 mins walk further up does excellent guinness 
and town centre is 10 mins walk away.
