There used to be lorries parked here overnight, they didnt inconvenience anyone was gone before any customers came in the morning, but then one day,the manager decided to ban them.Do you think this sums the attitude to truckers,so important ti the economy, but no one wants you to park…
Was the same at wickes in dunstable.
Although…to be fair, the yard had got smashed to ■■■■.
Purpose built facilities are needed.
It exactly sums up the attitude, mind you would you want your car park stinking of ■■■■ and full of rubbish left by the truckers?
It shouldn’t be left to private companies to provide for us… Government should get there finger out their arse and do something about it. Of course nothing will happen

The same happened at Asda at Cribbs Causeway once a very popular spot to park but then a few caravan dwellers and a fair few motorhomes moved in too and they we’re taking up about 25% of the parking so in the end the manager had enough.

That used to be a great ■■■■■■■■■■■■, big supermarket, mcdee for those so inclined, quiet once the kiddies playing at drag racing , and pretty secure. But as you said, in the end it started to resemble a caravan site.
Parking is one reason why I’m packing in tramping. To be honest, I’m not keen on truck stops, to noisy, and you never know if you get a spot after 5 o’clock these days… I preferred parking in quiet spots, but many companies now frown upon that (insurance…), and to be honest, the way things are going, fuel thefts and curtain slashing is only going to go up.
I’m also fed up with curtain siders, and the farce that is ‘securing the load’.
Back on the tankers, and back on nights.
