Overloaded lorries

HAVE a look it is afilm clip about a BAG check

which has as its main point ,the OVERLOADED

vehicles to apprehend and take off the roads,

Unfortunatly the man power is not enough

so that these checks can be carried out more often

Due to the open and relaxed controls which where

carried out before at the borders of each EU country

the offence of being overloaded is one that increases

daily and is becomeing more and more dangerous

they stopped many vehicles but TWO were quite

important, the first was a van carrying building

supplies ,and the driver said YES I KNOW THAT

IT WAS OVERLOADED, but what can i do if i say

NO the employef says GO HOME i need my job,

he would just get one of the other workers to do it,

THE SECOND was a lorry loaded with HORSE

MANURE to a total weight of 72tns, which means

that he was WELL OVER WEIGHT; WELL worth the

I dont know if this related Pete but i was overnighting in a sevice station in Bruchsal, i went to the shop a little later after i had parked and the polizei turned up with this other mob (Abreviated with 3 letters, not B.A.G) Coned of a parking area, set up lighting and 2 weigh bridges(one for axle and one for total) and started weighing every truck in sight!!

YES they often do night controls and also the point

is well chosen so that you have no chance to avoid the

check point, when they really go to town they then have

the ZOLL; (CUSTOMS); LABOUR OFFICE (ARBEITS-AMT);
ORDNUNGS AMT ;(HSE);;;BAG;(VOSA); FELDJÄGER;
(MILITARY POLICE);THW;(CIVIL-AID-AGENCEY),
POLIZIE(POLICE);DROGEN-HUNDE;(DRUG-DOGS)
KRIPO;(CID);

and they stop all traffic and check every one

and it does bring results,very often very good

ones,as regards,drugs,crininals, sumgglers,

and of course any other offenders they catch.

Thay may of turned up once they was fully set up, i got back to my truck a bit sharpish and went to bed
