just looked on gregory distribution website and they are looking for drivers but they have outbased aftee them can anyone explain why or am i being a complete ejit??
They are recruiting for drivers at satellite depots.

I did some agency for them a while ago: Waited in a small yard near Gloucester for their driver and took the truck on up to Yorkshire and back to Gloucester.
His car was in the yard so I assume he was “outbased” there.
United Carriers used some outbased drivers years ago. We had a drawbar outfit that carried 3 demounts, the night trunker loaded them and took them down to lincoln, the drivers who lived there did south lincs and parts of leicestershire during the day. It cuts down on the hours and fuel, everyone did 8 hour shifts.
