Does anyone have it written down when you can use OUT on a tacho?

I am trying to find a definitive definition and can only find odd bits scattered around

Thanks in anticipation

Where EU drivers hours regulations don’t apply and the journey is done under GB domestic regs or off the public highway.

Read the overview section and the exemption and derogation section

gov.uk/guidance/drivers-hou … vers-hours

You use ? (when making a manual entry at the start of a shift) to show time/activity that is recorded elsewhere. Typically this will be when you have driven a vehicle with an analogue tacho or have been using some form of paper records since you ejected your card.
