Out of scope work - need clarification

Hi folks,

Sorry if this sounds a bit of a bone question - Usually driver for an agency doing various bits and bobs all over the spot, but this week, for the full week, i was working as a shunter on class 1 for a waste company on a 0600 - 1800 shift. All off it was on one site and off the public highway. As far as i can see this is outside the jurisdiction of both the EU drivers hours rules and domestic rules, but should i record this work via a paper record anyway and does it still come under WTD ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

As a person without any licence could do that then it is under the normal WTD and that does not count towards the drivers WTD

If no EU regs driving was done that week then no need to record that job

Top man thanks.

For one week out of every six I too shunt entirely on private property (Terberg, red diesel etc) and the only requirement for me is to make a note of hours worked. That’s all.
