Out of Scope Digi Woe

Anyone out there using the out of scope feature on a digi?
Usually I put a manual entry on a tachodisc, but this time I did some ‘out of scope’ driving in a vehicle fitted with a Siemens digital, so at start of shift I put in my card and set the tacho (vehicle entry) as ‘out of scope’.

Several hours later I finished the shift and reset the tacho, removed my card and got a printout.
The driving was on a fixed route, fixed timetable. A total of 6 hours driving and 5 hours of breaks (all over 15 mins)

The printout shows OUT at the beginning of the shift and OUT at the end.
In between are all my stops and drives and breaks.
I put my card into a DigiFob and it shows insufficient breaks.
I had the card downloaded at the yard and the analyser showed ‘Insufficient Breaks’
I’ve written on the back of the printout that the shift was ‘out of scope’, but of course after 28 days the printout will be gone and the entry still on my card…
Where did I go wrong??

You didn’t. That’s what happens if the analyser software isn’t set for out of scope.

Don’t worry - the data is marked as out of scope and the authorities would see this. Your manual entry also explains it.

Thank you for that, that’s a weight off my mind
Cheers
