Had a discussion the other day about a driver having exceeded 15 hrs duty.
He parked up and advised the office to be picked up with the Company van.
Has the law not changed recently where a driver can’t be picked up by a company vehicle and is to to return back as a passenger to the depot?
Is the driver not supposed to either park up to have his daily rest or to be collected by a taxi and driven to either a hotel or his home address (but not back to depot).
Looking forward to clarification, preferably with a link to the legislation.
