Seen a white premium pulling one of your trailers m42 south yesterday simply stunning NOT
We have 3 trucks on hire till x-mas as we are getting busier, will prob reach about 7 or 8 on hire when we are flat out. Got 2 x 2013 top line scania’s and the premium.
Premium is Cheap and nasty I know but still gets the job done.
When Scania Rental gets me some more top lines I take the plastic pig back to where I got it from…

Would this have been one of yours at some point WWW?
Yes mate, it was… The guy that bought it refused to give us the plate back after he bought it, and then used out ferry account for 6 weeks as all the trucks were on a auto list… Ha Ha…
Glad to see she is still running, who owns it now ?

That belongs to M & D’s. They are showmen based in Strathclyde Country Park just off J5 of the M74.

I take it your company must be a one off as I was on the understanding there is no money in transport■■?
So Thousands & Thousands of trucks are running around the UK at a financial loss every week then ?
With the right contracts, equipment, drivers, management (inc 1 very dedicated TM), accountants… It can all fall into place !!!
I think you will agree though, finding specialist markets within haulage is the only way to make a decent profit these days. In fact, niche markets are the only ones where you get to choose a price to write at the bottom of your invoices, in most ‘mass markets’ (containers etc) your told a rate & it’s simply take it or leave it.
Either way, it’s nice to see a UK haulier doing well in Europe.
It’s not the beautiful blue one is it? Came through Mont Blanc with it a few weeks back, the driver very kindly helped me out after an overtaking misjudgement on my part! Don’t use Mont Blanc normally
