Not any more. Did some work in there a few years ago because of the fire they had at Turriff…

I saw a nice black scania heading down the A419 today. Will have to make some enquiries as to whether your just hauliers or something moreseems a lot of money floating about
Charging the correct rates for the job and not just to make a drink.hardly ever running empty and treating the drivers like they are actually part of the setup goes along way in a successfull business . As this case goes to prove. So I guess pete and ray won’t be to concerned about what enquiries you make MISS marples

We are hands on people…
Ask my drivers and they will all tell you what a top boss Ray White is…
Might call me a c**t but I’m the one that dishes out the work … lol
We are a family business and put blood, sweat and tears into it… I have had many nights with no sleep trying to sort problems out…
I put 100% effort into the planning of the trucks every day, I do it all myself. Even if I have a day off I still plan the work.
I am not a spotty 18 year old planner that hasn’t got a clue… I have been doing the job over 10 years but have been around trucks all my life. I love my job and it reflects in my planning skills…
Very well put Me White!!

‘‘As this case goes to prove’’. Does it? do you work for them then or you are their accountant?
I just asked a question a while back in the thread as to whether they were just a haulage company or bought and sold goods, the answer i got was ‘‘well were not farmers’’, so not really an answer. My first question was out of interest as to whether it was possible to provide a haulage service and be able to run top notch equipment by just being canny or whether further profit from buying and selling goods was needed to be able to indulge. Accuse me of being intrested if you want, but this is a forum the last time i looked.

There’s a nice Scania 730 for sale in Avonmouth £136,000 I think it was called The Black Amber.
Simple realy a decent boss can make or break a job as far as am concerned i much prefer the ones who have and still do it themself , theyno the job and can respect that everything dont go to plan same goes for planners so many think its only 1 inch on map
Treat your staff right and am firm beliver they will treat you right in return such a small thing it would seem this day and age respect it works both ways .
They’re “just” a haulage company punta. They don’t manufacture, grow, rear or buy and sell anything.

How come you spec 6 wheelers when so much of your work is across the water?

Half our fleet are 4x2 and other half 6x2
When only going to Paris or Belgium with the short haul work you don’t need 1000L tanks… Big tanks are needed on the longer runs…

Haven’t seen it yet…
It might be the angle of the 1st photo
could be cos the doors are metal but corner panels are plastic. colours often look different on car bumpers compared to doors/bonnets. it’s more noticeable on white as it tends to “yellow” a bit on plastics
