have the french scrapped the 80kph speed limit while carring haz been overtaken a few times this week but they all looked like new trucks add blue tanks etc so the speed trace doesnt show on print out !!! even some were french reg trucks ,also is the 10pm sunday night ban till midnight with orange plates been scrapped would like to know as going under orange plates for the 1st time in about 5 years to st dizier monday

the french scrap such a money making scheme, do you see the uk government pulling down speed cameras too?
it’s still there - it’s still 80 kph and it’s still enforced - so is the midday saturday to midnight sunday driving ban on adr.
those guys speeding along with digi tacho’s are in for a shock if they get stopped by a gendarme with a tacho reader as the speed trace is recorded and is only overwritten after it accumulates 24 hours of driving time.
so it’s like 3 x 8 hours driving before it writes over the first 8 hours driving.
