Newbie Class1 driver here, I sometimes watch jays videos as I find it a good distraction somewhat watching other people do their work etc, thought jay was an ok guy but his responses on this forum etc are taken far too much to heart when I believe people on here are being “harsh” in not a personal manner but such a manner where it needs to be so hopefully jay can take a step back and re-evaluate himself and he absaloutly needs to take heed of the posts, due to his scary driving I think one day hes going to kill or injure someone the way he drives, so just maybe if he does take that re-evaluation the “bullys” on here may well have possibly saved someones life or averted disaster in the future.
He is so angry because I guarantee he was bullied in the army. 100%. Well he would of if he was in my unit. He is a civi now, done his time, think the world owes him and thinks he’s a hard man. I don’t know what he did, but I guess he was stagging on in bastion or at least sat in a comfy vehicle. Apologies if wrong but I doubt I am so ■■■■ it.

The guy is a menace, surely as a new driver you’d be extra cautious and trying your best to avoid any kind of close call. He’s driving like a chav with road rage only doing it in an 18t truck, the video of him barreling towards a petrol station with 2 people crossing the road and a car pulling out behind them is scary, he doesn’t even touch the brakes and he’s moaning about the car driver, did he even see the people walking across the road? Then there’s a van incident, he was passed by the van well before the merge but tries to undertake him and shut him out knowing full well what will happen then appear to chase him at 50+ mph down a 40mph dual carriageway to fulfill his road rage. He’s not an example of how it is to drive a truck, he’s not the right person to inspire anyone and if he admits to having serious anger issues then he really should stop driving an HGV until he has that totally sorted which I suspect will be never.

Just want to say he does a great job and his videos are really helpful, inspiration and entertaining. fair enough he’s not always textbook example for road etiquette but neither are 99.9% of road users on our roads, he even admits to himself as a n00b trucker having only done it commercially a year, but I can guarantee he’s more competent doing his residential drops then half of the people on this forum who have probably been out of the game for 10-20 years. It’s not like he’s just some kid who got bored on the dole he’s and ex squaddie and veteran, so people getting threatening jog on. If you think you can do better feel free to post a link to your YouTube channel, didn’t think so.

The feedback from the bald bitter doorknobs on here clearly got him thinking a bit, otherwise he wouldn’t have deleted a lot of the videos in question; probably having realised he was in the wrong and made a ■■■ of himself.
Hopefully he comes back in his later videos acting a bit more professional. Drivers don’t like seeing other drivers posting videos in the public domain driving poorly & giving us all a reputation of being aggressive knob jockeys on the road.

You didn’t miss anything. Trucker chav posts multiple vids on YouTube, mostly driving like a ■■■. Resulting in more experienced drivers trying to point out the error of his ways before it’s too late. Cue a load of abuse, and let’s sort this with fists posts, then the mother of all I’m leaving vids. Then along came his newbie desciples, with about 3 months experience between them, to call us all bullies
