And what if those sensitive goods are pharmaceuticals heading for your local hospital that has one of your relatives in. Yours has to be one of the most stupid posts on here and that takes some
If it’s that important it should be transported more securely & efficiently…
Mostly they are look at any company doing pharmaceuticals all the control panels are locked but the driver still falls under the taco rules so it is inevitable that he has to stop somewhere

This might be the case but their is no need to take it out on the driver. At the end of the day he’s only doing his job.

I thought it was being taken out in the reefer trailer not the driver as he should be asleep:lol:

If he transports sensitive goods and gets his fridge turned off a few times, this will teach him and his company how and where to park his noisy box.
Had it done to me several times and I’m fed up, will be turning them off myself from now on, let them worry about the consequences.
And what if those sensitive goods are pharmaceuticals heading for your local hospital that has one of your relatives in. Yours has to be one of the most stupid posts on here and that takes some
Maybe the driver and the company responsible for transporting those sensitive goods (pharmaceuticals) should take a proper risk assessment, think in advance of what might go wrong and avoid risky situations. If they do not conduct a proper risk assessment they will have only themselves to blame for not being able to safely transport sensitive goods from A to B, will lose contract and a company that can plan it properly can take a the contract over.
Before you go on the road , plan, consider all possibilities, make sure you do not endanger your sensitive road through reckless behavior, otherwise you not good enough to do such a job.

Parked up in a service area and kept awake by other vehicles, it’s like being parked up at an airport and being kept awake by planes. Buy a pink blanket to go with the ear plugs!
Anybody who turns another drivers fridge off is a colossal ■■■■■ Period.
well it just goes to show the reason this industry is ferked with moronic arse holes who think its ok to shut a fridge off just because … maybe fridge drivers should start slashing curtains because the curtains are making a noise
Fridges are annoying but its part of the job. I don’t see many complaining about the container driver rolling in at 3am banging and crashing around looking for a space.

Aye,and these morons moan because car drivers don’t understand how much room wagons need/are in the way and that old favourite,if you have it then a truck brought it…you would think drivers would have some understanding seeing as we’re all doing the same job,seems not.
Best thing for you lads moaning about fridges is to plan ahead,you know it’s a 24 hour industry and motorway services are used all night so I advise finding somewhere else.

I thought it was a forgone conclusion that Carryfast would win the most ridiculous post of the year award, but it appears he has some serious competition…
@mazzer
never sleep in services without ear plugs, you clearly are so detached from the real world you don’t realise ear plugs can not do anything to help you sleep when you have a disco parking up next to you.
I have a choice between do not sleep all night and be a danger on the road the next day, or turn your fridge off, have a few hours sleep, feel refreshed next morning and be able to drive safely, guess which option am I gonna chose?

Any fridge driver that doesn’t park up far away from other non refrigerated vehicles, with other fridges is a colossal [zb]. Period.

If you find curtain siders cause too much noise for you, you need to have your head checked, asap.

I do not bother anyone when I park at services, I try to be as quiet as possible, I even try not open and close my cab’s door too often, not when necessary and do it quietly, as I know the driver parked next to me needs to get a rest ahead of his next day driving, enjoy parking next to all types of trailers, even the dreaded curtainsiders and containers (as some in here like to complain about them, lol), but when a fridge parks right next to me, when there are so many empty spaces available or fridge do not park next to each other in one part of the services but all over the place, that boils my blood, and believe it or not I’m not the only one, we even have examples mentioned here of other fridge drivers that have their fridges turned off for the night not being happy with a turned on fridges parking next to them.
So, if any of you fridge drivers complains about noisy curtainsiders or containers, and you do not see a problem with your fridges, you need to have you heads examined.
@newmercman
here we go again, trucknet’s number one drama queen has finally arrived, and as always nothing of any value to add, but this does not stop you from posting, does it?
moronic drivers who thinks it is OK to go and commit a criminal offence and cause damage to another persons property, stop being a moany old ■■■■ and deal with it!!
end of the day, you could of parked in the corner out of the way!
