Hi all!!!

James
Yes. Not too difficult.
How did you answer question about driver licence■■?
If I remember the drivers had c1 vocational licenses so I said that they would need to take and pass a medical, take and pass relevant theory test and hazard perception, take and pass category c test, wait for license to be returned it should automatically have provisional category c+e and then take and pass category c+e .
Think you only had to give three steps
I got the same. thanks for clarification
Good luck to anyone who took the CPC today.
Just one little bit of advice I was given, if the exam paper asks for three steps, then give three, not five. You won’t get any more points for five but you might get marked down for not fully complying with the question, which asked for three steps.
Yes, I know it’s silly but that’s the world of academia for you!
Sounds like ill be getting marked down then Harry I worked on the theory of an extra one would give me a bit of cover if I had one wrong!!!
We’ll see!!
No, it’s like when you get an application form for a job and the first thing it says is “Complete this form in BLACK ink”.
Many people can’t find a black pen so they fill the form in in blue ink, thinking “Won’t make any real difference”.
Wrong. All of the applications in blue ink will go straight into the bin without even being read because the applicant can’t even understand what colour pen he has been asked to use!
I doubt that giving five answers instead of three would make any great difference unless you were absolutely borderline pass, but it was always stressed to me that you had to do exactly what it said on the tin for the best results.
I re-sat my International CPC paper exactly a year ago, before they were combined, so I feel affinity with everyone who sat the exam today, once again good luck, let us know how you got on.
They only mark the first 3 no matter how many you put.
Yes, thinking about it, you’re right, first three answers accepted only and the rest ignored, not actually marked down for it.

Hi jetemp,
Any questions that you can remember are gratefully received for discussion in the hope that the discussion can help others.
Can you remember whether the question asked you to describe three steps OR list three steps?
The reason for me asking is because there’s a world of difference in the way that they want the answers presented and success in a CPC exam can often depend on a correct reading of the question.
If you have a read of This link to OCR and scroll a little to the Examiners reports, you’ll see what I mean about reading the questions correctly and then giving the answers in the way that they’re looking for.
I think is was list but not 100%
I think, it was list too!!!
