Following on from my previous thread about Operator CPC Training.
Any good books to read before i decide to do the course either through in classroon training or home study?
What books have others found usefull■■?
Study drivers hours, the rules for operators,the O licence application procedure maintainence, axle weights etc.
Everything you need will be in the course notes and the DVSA website, I went for a residential course but all down to the individual.

I did mine through home study, which is ok if you have the self discipline to study, and a brain that absorbs trivia…
I found it useful to remember key words or numbers, without the need for whole sentences… Got some flash cards and wrote on both sides , so that either side was a question or answer… For example SDR on one side… 8.33 on the other…Got the kids to read on side and I had to answer the other…also easily done alone when sat in a queue etc…
