This happened on Saturday. An agency driver picked up this trailer at Wakefield depot and was enroute to Rotherham. Instead of going via M62 and M1 he went the back way into Wakefield along Denby Dale Rd. Well, those of you familiar with the area will know there’s a low bridge in Wakefield on Denby Dale Rd, and the two had a bit of a coming together
. I wonder which agency is having to pick up the tab for it
. One of the new trailers too
.
I dunno, might be more fuel efficient with that ‘streamlined’ look
at least there’s no problem with those bridge heights now
pam
one question springs to mind and that is H&S ASSESMENT
or do they think every one is all ready conversent with every product
on the open market,
Sorry .but didn,t some one say low-riders are the fashion now,
Wear a hi-vis and take the keys, that sorts everything, don’t you know.
You have made a mess of that one Mate
might be a bit of a â– â– â– â– â– loading against the head board
jon
oooops…
We had this happen to one of our double-decker tautliners in Baldock.
It’s amazing how well they can rebuild them these days.
Is that one of those new folding tautliners?
do you think he’s looked at the cab height then the bridge height and thought, no problem?
Best looking irlams i
ve seen for ages
thats was a fair old whack not a little nudge was it.
looks like irlams have got a nice new 45ft flat, ropeing n sheeting for the naughty boys
i wonder if our old MATE irlamsdriver has seen it
No problem, find a lower bridge and reverse into it!!
smart ive been looking for a new flatbed
Martin:
No problem, find a lower bridge and reverse into it!!
Might not be a complete disaster…anyone got a load shaped like that?
Rob K:
Whats the betting that the Daf on the front was’nt the one pulling it, and there’s a unit somewhere minus its airkit.
now there’s a thought !!
At least that explains why irlams don’t buy super space cab !! Just think of the damage the drivers would cause to the roof of one of those !!
