Well, after taking the plunge I took my training with Flair (John) in Chelmsford. Quite a way from my home in Chippenham. Very pleased I did, training was excellent and I somehow managed to pass my C+E at the first attempt with 8 minors. I must look in blind spots when pulling off!!
That’s, the 35hrs done, C+E, ADR and Tach card all in the wallet. Now the hard part and get a perm job. Not really a fan of agencies so time to knock on a few doors round my area to see if I can get that foot in the door.
For those thinking of going for it, please do, I was worried about the jump to class 1, I needn’t have. As long as you have a top instructor like I did you can’t fail.
I can vouch for Bailey Employment Services Ltd at Crown Square,Melksham by the swimming pool.

Well, been for my first interview today and start on Monday. Really pleased and looking forward to it. Get to shadow first day as want to see the strapping down etc. multi drop work and it’s the first step on the ladder of experience.
Company seems good and I’ll keep updating how I get on.
Hope the driver doesn’t get fed up on Monday with my bone questions!!
