He got a 12 month ban from the TC - but only his HGV licence. He also got fined £500.

His employer was also fined and had their O licence suspended for 2 weeks. The TM is also no longer a TM until she passes the CPC again.

And the driver is now unemployed or at least not employed as a LGV driver any more.

Might stop some people on here crying and getting the lube ready after they park up on 4hr31min.

He would be the ideal driver for Big Vern to team up with when he goes back to van driving :laughing:

That reminds me of the good old days of running on the wire or fuse and doing one hits from Cherbourg or Caen to Lisbon,Porto,Malaga or Gibraltar.
A trip that legally takes four days was done in a day and half, only stopping for number two,s and copious amounts of coffee .

If you lost your HGV licence on medical grounds then it’s doubtful that you’d get a hackney carriage or private hire licence either since the medicals are fairly similar.
