Ongoing CPC and ADR expiry date

For £500 I can get an ADR licence with 21 hours CPC and an additional CPC course with a further 14 hours bringing me upto the required CPC total of 35 hours.I am a little confused by expiry dates though,I know that ADR expires after 5 years so if I passed today , a licence would be valid until October 2014.What about the CPC,where would I stand in five years time ? Will that run for the next 5 years until 2019 ?

One does not depend on the other - they are seperate issues.

The ADR has it’s own rules - as does driver CPC

No, because the course would need to be JAUPT approved at the time you did it.
Also any training done before Sept 10 this year will not count for LGV periodic driver cpc
