One to get you all into a frenzy

A hit and run cyclist

dailymail.co.uk/news/article … -jail.html

I try not to click on Daily Wail links if I can help it, but I have no doubt it’s a balanced and responsible piece of well researched journalism.
That said, there are no doubt some arses on bikes out there, just the same as there are arses in cars and trucks.

How can you hit a child and leave the scene.
I hope he is jailed and the other prisoners find out what he’s done.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm,is it

Oh the standard of cycling has gone down hill. :unamused:

here is one for the dog lovers…

I dont have a dog myself but my girlfriend does and i love the bones of it, i would quite happily crack that ■■■■ in the face with a hammer. Him being a cyclist is just a bonus.

Cyclists should be banned from the roads. Or at least made to pay road tax.

Leave the roads to the true pros: car drivers & truck drivers.

:sunglasses:

SARCASM

I hope this is his cell mate and I hope he doesn’t have any KY Jelly.

The dogs a cyclist as well! How clever is that.

Hope some of you don’t fall off that high horse you’re on, you’ll never walk again. Didn’t see much on here about the trucker that hit & killed someone the other week before doing a runner, oh hang on it was only a cyclist. Or the motorist that hit & killed a 3 year old in Darlington and driving off 2 weeks ago.

You can’t expect a trucking forum to face stark reality can you?

I’ve not seen any posts relating to the incidents you mention. If I had, my response would still be the same. How can you hit someone and just leave them.
I quite like my perch up here atop my horse.

It’s like being in the lorry being high up looking down on the common car/cyclist users

I’ve woke up next too worse, bloody internet dating…

Cant understand how this guy can leave the scene, suppose at least he saw sense and turned himself in later on.
It does say in the article that he did stop initially and then left maybe the child’s guardians requested this? (putting it politely)

I posted on that thread … my opinion of this cyclist is broadly similar to my opinion of the truck driver in the case you mention. Neither is fit to push a pram, never mind be in control of a vehicle in public.
