I’d stay clear of anything to do with…tesco:evil:

Expect to be pulling 10m/baby trailers to small convenience stores on main roads and in housing estates with plenty of headaches parking outside them.

I’d say you could probably do better.

So if you got offered a job delivering fuel to tesco garages you would obviously turn it down yeah?

No because that job is outsourced to other hauliers as far as I’m aware, none of which are owned or run by tesco:)

I’m sat looking at a Tesco tanker being pulled by a Tesco unit at a Tesco forecourt right now (I’m delivering to the store). Granted I have also seen all Stobart livered tankers at Tesco petrol stations as well. I think they do still have in house drivers in places.

Good for you, yes it may be tesco’s kit but the driver isn’t necessarily employed by them, I think ND run some of it. Some tankers are now parked in the DCs instead of refineries or wherever to cut costs, one DC in particular might have a mix of ND & tesco drivers recruited internally or the ND drivers are now employed by tesco, not sure-either way I wouldn’t work for them, simples:)

what on earth has one stop got to do with tesco ?

They are part of tesco’s

but they are run seperatly from tescos , one stop has its own supply chain

But still part of Tesco, as is Dobbies Garden Centres

…and your point is?
B&Q and PC World/Currys are owned by the same company , DSG International. You try buying a bit of 3"x2" from PC World and look for the even blanker than usual looks

Might be owned by Tescos doesn’t mean day to day ops are like Tesco. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think I’d like small drops on streets/corner shops. It’s bad enough waiting for Morrisons RDCs but waiting for Mrs Miggins to move her car or Shaun McScrote to nip into your cab while you are not looking is not my idea of fun!

Don’t forget stobart as well…
I know it’s true because I heard it in a waiting room and I’ve read it on here…

Knew this would get in to a tesco debate
Has no one actually worked here then??
