One of my days at work

This is what i do all week boring i know but here goes.My day starts at 4am after a very uneventful run to Liverpool in the dark mainly on the limiter i get to my 1st drop.it does fit honest

Then line up with the silos

connect the pipes from trailer to silo then connecy trailer to the blower then let it go lol

This means its all going well lol

With that all done time to reverse out the way i came

Thats 27 tons of wheat into a silo then the usual phone in for next job which is a farm collection near Daventry back to the yard so another quite run doen the M6/M1 to the farm
down the main road
turn right down the side road
into farm lane.A very quick load no pics farmer didnt want any taken then back to the yard in 10 mins again no pics the boss doesnt like them lol
Well thats one day for me hope some of you enjoy it

Good read and nice pics. Post more please.

I like to see what others do in their day and pictures highlight the diary, nice to see! One question if you don’t mind? I’ve never done that type of work but I noticed the unit wasn’t quite in line with the trailer and I thought that was important or have I picked that up wrong somewhere? Not trying to nit pick bud just interested. Thanks for taking the time to write it up!

Yes I thought the same. Not done artic tipper work but I thought that you had to have unit and trailer in line and on level ground otherwise it could very easily topple over?? ? :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

I park it like that because the link pipe from unit blower to the trailer has to fit 3 different trailers and is a quite long

as you can see attached to another trailer. But as the ground is solid its not to important so long as its not a big angle but 99% of the time you are dead straight to tip

Great pictures, very interesting - hope you do some more
