One for the tacho gurus

im currently looking at going selfemployd and was looking at the implications of doing a mix of agricultural work and driving in the same week

so a couple of questions

1: will i still come inscope if i do say oneshift driving a week ( im sure i would )

2: would i still be subject to wtd

3: i will be keeping detailed records of the other (out of scope) work i do but in a week whereby i do inscope work dis this record have to be on a tacho / printout

4: am i going insane trying to work this out

Yes

Yes, but the other job won’t count toward your WTD hours for the driving job so it shouldn’t be an issue. The hours spent doing teh other job will count as other work for the tacho rules, only really an issue if you spend a day doing a bit of both types of work

Yes, chart is easiest. You will have to observe weekly rest periods in the week you do any driving and daily rest periods on the days you drive.

No, because I did it for you. :stuck_out_tongue:

cheers neil you confirmed what i was thinking

q4: really related to the whole thing not just what i asked on here

as there is the argument that it would be eaiser to just use the p46 form to say the driving agency is a second job

but the whole thing is in early stages yet

got to try and nail down the costs yet
