Do you find that other drivers are less inclined to let you out at junctions because of Tescos reputation? I’ve noticed Tescos seem to wait longer than other lorrys because most people know they “take our safety seriously.”
I admit when on job and knock, on more than one occasion I’ve left Tescos sitting there.
Ive done tesco as a driver for someone subbing for tesco and never had any problems with junctions. But I did a weeks agency at the co-op recently and I noticed big problems from both motorists and other trucks. Even on motorway when indicated to pull out other trucks would just keep on coming.

very professional as ever … has it ever occurred to you that the driver is just like you trying to earn a crust? why make his life hard

He’s already made his life hard by working for tesco in the first place, that’s not OP’s fault…

+1 ^^.
I’ll leave Audi drivers waiting.
I leave everyone waiting when I have the bulk tipper on my back but always slow down for them with the curtain on

Why would you.
I for eg. hate Stobarts as a co, the reason being that they are pretentious and so far up their own arses , but their drivers have nothing to do with that, well except maybe for a couple of them , every driver is the same to me on the road, Stobarts, Supermarket, East Euro, …and yeh, even agency
,
I have seen many times when a driver is struggling to reverse in to a parking place or a blindside at a depot, the UK drivers just sit in their cabs laughing, and have a smirk on their face.
It is only an Eastern European driver that walks over to help out.
As for Tesco, why do they have the most ugliest trucks, the Axor, with it’s stick on, add on, glued on side and roof wind deflectors ?
Chuffing along at 35 mph on the motorway.A donkey would get there quicker.
With the money saved on fuel using low speed tugs, and cheap trucks, what have they done with the money saved ?

And a mile of traffic stuck behind, poodling about at 36 flat out aren’t being somewhat irritated? And for those offended by this attitude, I bet you’ve all thought “oh ■■■■■■■■” when one pulls out infront of you?
Not tesco no I wouldnt ,as I wouldn’t moran, arla, pcl as they deliver to the same places I do ,so if I let a tesco d/d out he may then end up in front of me at supermarket ,I’d be gutted if I had too sit there for a xtra 2 hrs while he got tipped .

That’s what the up coming FCA investigation will be trying to find out too!

Best post award
After paying for all the stick on air deflectors and the monitoring software along with paying office staff to monitor the fuel saving performance of a driver then as above ending up paying the driver more in hours, do these schemes actually save money or is it paying out money for image?

I can’t say I’ve noticed having to wait longer at junctions, I don’t charge about so ain’t bothered how long it takes to get out at a junction or anywhere else. If someone doesn’t want to let me out that’s upto them, I’ll just sit and wait, wouldn’t bother me either way. I can understand not wanting to get stuck behind a Tesco motor, I live 11 miles from my DC and over half of it is SC and sometimes it does get frustrating having to do 40mph for mile after mile if I’m stuck behind a tesco motor while I’m on my way home.
I live near a sainsburys dc so if it ant tesco holding me up on my way home it’s sainsburys

Which part of town, it either the estate the starts with a W or the estate that starts with a P, or Park Prewett
The only thing that holds me up to/from work is either Thatcham or Colthrop level crossing

I don’t live that near to Sainsburys DC, I live just off the A33, Sherfield Park, to be fair it’s not often I get stuck behind a sainsburys motor on the A33

No 'cause the buggers use the A339 between Newbury and Basingstoke
The A4 Reading to Thatcham is “good” for M&S but to be fair they don’t hang around
