I know what they’re offering class 2 wages as a second driver. I was offered it last week. It’s a ■■■■ sight more than £70 per day.
As I previously mentioned it’s £70 plus night out rising to £80 plus night out after 3 months accident free & if all paperwork is in order…
Not getting into an argument about it!
01527 520720 & ask for Paul Walker (transport manager)

If your over the water for more than 28 days how and where do you download your digi card ■■
You can put a Copy of Software on your Laptop and add a Card reader and safe it on a Flash Storage dongle
Little bit of advice about Fly By Nite… £70 per day for 3 months rising to £80 per day if the truck is accident free & paperwork is filled in correctly on top of that there’s night out money…
Feel free to PM if you require more information, but £80 per day, 13/15 hours a day or 21 hours if you are double driving.
So to reiterate, £6.15 per hour for a 13 hour day or £3.80 for a 21 hour day double driving…
This is the wage i was offered. Was told £10 night out money in London also.
Work also seemed to be very ad-hoc. Might be a good lifestyle choice if you live with your parents, not if you have a mortgage.
Was told there is little to no work in winter also. Can’t believe that people are saying that this bloke lies about the wage.
Exhibition vehicles for example are exempt tachos, EU drivers hours, mots. Look it up. I know some of their work comes under this. Its suprising how many police dont realise this either, until they check. tachodata.com/detailed.htm. section 18, exemptions.
Had an interview there yesterday and was told that night out money varies greatly on the job. As an example I was told that if it was exhibition work in London it could just be £10. Could be up to £60 if abroad however.
Wage was £70 a day for the first three months, irrespective of hours worked, rising to £80 a day after the three months if accident free. Whilst away you are paid each day, but not guaranteed work each day in the UK, so basically it’s zero hours. Was also told they have very little work in winter and a lot of the men do agency/supermarket work at those times.
Could have started Monday, but not for me. Money too low/inconsistent.
Over to you then Shade. Where’s the driver BS in what’s typed above?
