An example of a very typical working week for me would be-
Mon 08:00 - 18:00 finish approx 4-5 hrs driving total
Tue same
Wed same
Thu same
Fri same
Mostly the finishes are before 6pm, the start is always 8am.
My question based on the above is-
Can I work 3,4 or even 5 Saturdays in a row (or as many as I liked) based on the following-
“Within six 24 hour periods from the end of the last weekly rest period, a driver will extend a daily rest period into either; a regular weekly rest period of at least 45 hours…”
Let’s say that I start at 8am on any given Saturday and finish by 11am would I have satisfied the weekly rest criteria bearing in mind that the next shift will start at 8am on the following Monday?

Can’t speak for Coffeeholic but …
If you start work at 08:00 every Monday and you can be finished by 11:00 every Saturday then there’s no reason why you can’t work the six shifts every week and still have your regular weekly rest period.
Depending on what breaks you have it looks like you’re talking in terms of around 48/48.5 hours working time each week which includes the Saturday so I can’t see a problem, you may need to extend a break or two to keep within the WTD 48 hour week but as I said that depends on what breaks you already have.
Yes the breaks during the working day, these don’t count as working time for the WTD so as you seem to be looking at about 53 hours per week overall you could do with getting it down to 48 hours per week working time if this is to be a permanent work pattern.
The WTD requires that you average no more than 48 hours per week working time over the reference period which is usually 16 weeks.
On the other hand if it’s not going to be a permanent work pattern you’ll probably be OK anyway.

Yeah you can, were usually on the same page when it comes to this stuff.

Exactly what I would have said had I been here to answer it.
