On it's side in Halifax !

Bit of a strange one this as the usual right hand turn round from the lights (Orange St;) is closed at the moment so the traffic is coming straight up with the Town Hall on the left. This junction has got a bit of a reputation for rollovers and a couple of fatalities over the last few years :frowning: It will be interesting to find out what caused this one
This is the usual route from the Keighly area (A629) through Halifax and on to Huddersfield so I’m sure there’s a lot of guy’s have been through this junction at some point or other.

The pic appears to show a bad camber behind the truck, but even then, if I can see it, surely drivers using this junction on a bright sunny day can see it as well? Or am I being over critical?

Bet that ruffled a few feathers !!
Perhaps the chickens wanted to cross the road ? sorry . . . exits stage left

I delivered to Orange st plaza about a dozen times or so last year so know it well, by the looks of that photo he was travelling down the hill swung right too quickly, whilst probably top heavy with crates of chickens coupled with the slight adverse camber of Broad street.

Well that would be true if Orange St; was open but apparently it is closed to through traffic hence me saying it was a bit strange, the truck was ‘allegedly’ travelling in a straight line uphill but has gone over :open_mouth:
I’ve got a feeling all the chickens decided to move over to the left and took it over
Them chickens can be real barstewards when they want to be.

Another wonk driver…pure and simple

I bet it was quite EGG-citing to watch.

probably done his Dcpc, and thinks he’s invincible.

drivers fault, driving to fast.

If he is coming from up the hill then that is a strange one :open_mouth:

know that road very well,i’d say he’s come along the burdock way r/bout & turned right at the lights where the yellow boards are, they are just out of sight on the l/h side so don’t give a true picture of the situation,to travel up the hill towards huddersfield & gone a bit quick & lost it,it’s slighlty off camber as your turning right at the lights & can force you over a bit if your driving something with a bit of weight on…

Maybe the North’s premier agency driver strikes again!
