Hey guys just quick question. Ive have drive assement on wedsnday. Can i drive crossing my hands while company trainer with me on the drive? Not too sure. Sounds silly but not sure from my training just. Thanks guys 
Yes you can cross your hands but do it safely and stay in control at all times.
Do what feels comfortable, theyre looking that you can drive the lorry safely not how your holding the steering wheel

Im pretty sure I was told its okay to cross but not to let it freewheel itself (like let go of the wheel or relax grip on it so it steers itself like when coming off a roundabout or something)

It could be that, if you feel under pressure to cross your hands, you’re attempting the turn too quickly. Better to slow down a little and steer properly.
I have assessed drivers prior to employment and, although simply crossing hands wouldn’t be a serious issue, it tends to be coupled with excessive speed and/or general sloppiness.
My advice is just to do it properly. Why compromise?
