Yeah it was a great feeling as it took me 3 attempts to get it! Iv waited so long for it too, so when he said the magic words “im happy to tell you, you have passed” I was elated!
It was a great feeling being offered a full time job on the spot as well!! They said they see how i go on Class 2 and then move me up to C+E after a couple of months! Its nice as i actually feel like im getting somwhere now, after working for 5-6 months on agency and prep’ing for the C+E test and being financially skint paying for it all with unsteady work! Its nice to feel like the hard work its starting pay off!
you doing day work,odd night out or joining us trampers?
Id like to go tramping I think, I said to my Mrs that i would like to try it all over the next couple of years but i think the tramping would be for me in honesty. I just hope i can find something that suits!

Think very carefully about that. It ruins relationships… Including mine. I’m not saying don’t do it. Just make sure you and your other half are strong enough to stand you being absent all week.

Or try to go half way only at the beginning. I used to work 3 days on Hebrides and two days doing local runs, so usually I was two nights away from home… It worked well, as we still have enough time together, yet we had time to miss each other I would say it was working very well, at least for my relationship.
