Olympics and road closures

How do we end up with 13 weeks of road closures when the games are only on for a couple of weeks?

Why do you believe the crap in the media.
The Olympics is about 4 weeks then 2 weeks of paraolympics (bad spelling ) ,in the extreme a couple of roads will be closed for maximum period, but most won’t just crap journalism trying to hype up stupid people

I thought it was a post about broken down ERFs blocking the streets?

Well as it seems likely to have some impact on me personally and probably hundreds of thousands of other people, including some who are worried about the effect it might have on their businesses, it seems to me to be worth a post? But you didn’t actually read the article did you? On yer bike you fat trucker! :stuck_out_tongue:

Of course its worthy of a post. All I can see is positives of the Olympics but its also good to see the negatives from the flip side of the coin.

I cant wait until Greece get to host it next and see the bill for the new stadium :open_mouth:

to be honest a company i have been working occasionally for have been taking concrete barriers down to the area for bloody weeks and weeks now i would guess once finished there is a huge deconstruction operation needed.

and while yes the olympics is a good thing for the uk (or london seeing as they decided to put 99.9% down there) i would guess living in the capital or running a haulage firm that way will become a nightmare :open_mouth:
