Thanks Karl, so I’m best coming off at hammersmith broadway then I take it?
Visiting on a Sunday you will want to speak to the “London Lorry Control” people. For a small fee they will work out a route for you. For a much bigger fee/fine you can pick your own.
That’s what was worrying me^^^ as long as I stay on the A4 and take the shortest route in I will be fine according to the boss, I’m just not sure of any weight restrictions.

If I read it correctly you need to get approval to use that shortest route.

Thanks for the link,Confusing ain’t it? We are signed up to the llcs sheme already so I’m presuming it’s that, I’m not sure whether you have to contact them for approval though ?
If your delivering to Olympia then from Hammersmith you go left before the bridge and loading yard is in front of you, or its further round on the same road…
Yes, Hammersmith then in from there on sundays.
I’ve always gone that way anyway but last time I loaded there another driver told me the weight limit has been lifted from the railway bridge mentioned above, I walked round the corner to see for myself and couldn’t see any 18t signs, so could be true.
Thanks chaps, puts my mind at rest.

The signs are still in place.
That’s why we have to do the Olympia store on a rigid lorry.
These Google street view pics could be years old, this bridge limit was supposedly removed in spring this year.
