This ,made to drink water for 3 month, what good do you think that would do? water is water whichever you look at it,we use it to get washed, & use more litres of that , than we drink single malts, I may I remind you bloody water costs me more than I spend on drink, & nowts for nowt I still pay tax, on my hard earned money. Who do these “Geordie topers” think they’re kidding? I’ve tried allsorts to convince “the bride” that we have a whiskey fairy
in our house but she just gives me that smile that says don’t push your luck kid, I dont think that the comedy duo (Harry & Larry)
will be any better than I am at subterfuge (although as I am considerably younger than they are :smiley: :smiley: so they must have had

I quite agree about the cost of water Larry.Perhaps it would be cheaper to wash in whisky,but then it would be dangerous to smoke in the bath :laughing: .

I cant smoke & never smoked in the bath, & not to put too fine a point on it mine is a jacuzzi bath & the ash would damage the pump, so I have to behave myself, but I sometimes have a glass of wine, when Im feeling down a bit, I suppose its because I miss the good old days tramping all over the place , & I really miss my old buddies that I worked with, they were the best days of my life, & sadley to say a lot of them are long gone, but at least Im still here to drink to the good old days when I worked with them, they were the real profesional lads, who in fact made a lot of gaffers rich men. Happy days Larry
