I am overweight as well ( although have lost a little last couple weeks

Could make you a “clean” cake so you could eat it

My good lady makes cakes Ang,but I don’t eat that many as my weight is creeping towards the 17 stone which is to much. Will have to cut down on beer me thinks  .

:stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
Seriously, I’d give a lot just to have a day with it, AEC’s (before BL) were the dogs ball ■■■■■ in my opinion.

Well I must say that is a nice bit of roping & sheeting, & of course it compliments the Mustang, a very fine classis from Southall, its just a shame that AECs packed in, they led that market for quite a lot of years, I drove a few of them, & I thought they were a great old motor. Regards Larry

hiya,
Remember J & E transport had at least two of these doing multi deliveries and collection’s around the Manchester area usually heavy rolls of cloth hence the need for the extra forward axle, when loaded and checked over they were trunked overnight to Perth, they was a pleasure to drive as was any of their immaculate fleet mainly AECs and Atkinson, they only ran rigids when I did a few weeks for them back in the late 50s,did they ever become articulated I wonder??.
thanks harry long retired.
