Six weeks of warm weather, making a glorious Indian Summer, followed by a very mild winter. Now everyone feels a lot better.

Well hospital today of course things didn’t go to plan there it was all done wrong way round had appointment to for x ray at 13.40 had appointment to see the man himself at 14.15 only problem was he wanted plaster removed 1st when they realised it was sorted went to have plaster removed then man came in to see all good clean up treat as achilles injury but has to be non weight bearing
So now have one of those black moon boot type things on that is build up inside then back round for x ray which had to keep boot on for the guy who was doing said x ray had not done it like that before so had to check they also apologised for the mis up earlier he did manage to sort out the x ray without a problem
Back round to see the Man himself he is happy all looking good so far & he will see my in 4 weeks time although back at hospital next week & every week to have 1 of the pads taking out so it lowers each week have 5 in atm but he has told me no weight on it at all
So now home again

Stick with it Ang. All these guys helped me when I was sick and low. Their messages of support might sound a bit hairy chested, but we’re all a bunch of like minded softies. You are our Star Lady. Jim.

Hi Ang, I spent many a good night in the old Oxford Ballroom, Of course that’s when I was a young lad looking for talent that could boogie, And there was quite a lot about in those good old days who enjoyed a good night out dancing the night away, I used to ware City Stylish Ox Blood coloured shoes in those days, The ladies loved them & I had no problems getting a dancing partener, The old quick step was one of my faves, And of course not to forget the old Smooch as the evening came to an end, The good old days,

Hello All. It was the Locarno in Derby for me - I was an apprentice at R.R. Aero Engines in the sixties. Every time I hear Booker T. and the M.G’s Time is Tight it takes me back. OH! the mini-skirts! Jim.
