Nice to see your on the road back Jim, I had chemo and surgery ten and a half years
ago I had 85/90 % of my stomach removed and have had no more problems since my
release from hospital just three monthly vitamin injections and an annual check-up
and that’s about it and for a 79 year old I’m in pretty good nick.

Very many thanks to you all. Lets hope we hear from the others soon. Your tales of derring-do, the place names, cafes and old company pictures have all sparked memories of trundling round mostly in the passenger seat of long gone wagons. Sleeping curled up in lay-bys ( always near a pub ) covered in great-coats and mums worn out blankets, with your cardboard case as a pillow, then magical bacon butties and a huge mug of tea. Young and grasping every moment, each trip an adventure.

I am back after a week in hospital due to falling of the lorry only to fracture my ankle rupture achilles & torn ligaments so a small op to correct now home on rest not allowed to drive due to having a plaster on it is only the accelerator & brake foot

Have they no two pedalers Ang you only need one leg to drive them and you
could hop down the side to pull the curtains the job’s too easy nowadays.

Yep they do but was driving a 3 pedlar at the time there are some still about been told have to rest
