Dave I have several times and I am going in may, my daughter likes to go to Osbourne House having tea & cake, I don’t know where she gets these high flutting idea’s from. I say find a good transport cafe like greasey joe’s, it must be good eating, we are still alive. ( JUST)
Hiya,
How you doing Nosser keeping well I hope, you find the greasy spoon and I’ll get
the breakfasts in I still owe you one.
thanks harry, long retired.
Your Daughter must be a fan of Queen Victoria to like Osborne House Norm, as Harry says a good transport cafe is my sort of place, full of nostalgia, but we all like different things in life. Enjoy your trip in May Norm.
Cheers Dave.

Hiya,
Yes Dave I’m you’re school of thought if you can’t pull onto a heavily pot-holed car/lorry
park and order something that has to be compulsory covered in sauce to kill the taste,
it becomes a no-go area, and before you all start a pal of mine a driving chum always
spouted off about healthy eating and did practice healthy eating had a massive attack
at age 56 and passed away.
thanks harry, long retired.
I used to love having a breakfast every day, until the last 15 years on Carlesberg and I would take sandwiches with me to cut down on my weight, now I have two toast, slice of ham and six cherry tomatoes in the morning, midday two ryvita with serious strong cheese spread and a bananna, then in the evening I have my dinner but not too much, 13 stones.
I have bacon egg and beans one morning for breakfast, then a sandwich the next morning and so on. I have a snack midday, then a cooked meal about 5.30pm.
16 Stone.

Nowt wrong with being 16 stone, assuming you are about 6’ 3" tall.

I’m 6’ 4" tall and 17 stone alas! Got to get rid of a couple of stone at least, easily put on but not so easily removed! “A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips” is the saying. I never eat any fried food though.

No I’m 6’ 0. Perhaps I should have grown a few inches higher.
Cheers Dave.
Dave the weather is too hot for me over there and I am too idle to keep swinging a big axe but if it was over here and M. Saviem could supply one of those french machines where you just have to pull a lever to release the blade I would seriously think about applying for it
cheers Johnnie
not gone to the moon harry , just knackered . 'er indoors has had a blitz on the garden , got rid of the old shed which blew down last back end and generally acted as labourer for the head gardener . i declared a 24 hour strike today , doing nowt except supping tea and relaxing . the daft woman must think i’m still 21 ( i wish ) we keep moaning about the weather but when we get a hot day i for one can’t stand it these days . i’m a bit fed up as due to the wife’s health we shan’t be making the annual pilgrimage to the wilds of scotland . oh the joys of getting older . cheers , dave
I’m the same as you Dave, this weather is too warm for me nowadays. Been outside doing some work on my trailer and came in to cook dinner, sweat is now pouring out of me and I find it quite uncomfortable. My missus cannot even walk at all now (can just about stand for about 30 seconds) so any trips away with our caravan are knocked in the head for a good while it seems. Not overkeen on this old age thing personally, though some folk seem to sail through life easily enough, luck of the draw I guess? Just had my Bowel cancer kit come through the post as well so more fun to be had in the bathroom for me!!
Just had a week at Skegness, last Saturday was good. Sunday was mixed, as was Monday. Tuesday was dry but very windy, more than bracing. Wednesday and Thursday good, this morning a thunderstorm,so home we came. A good week and a nice place to stay. Pete if you want some info on suitable places to take your Wife, just send me a PM.
Cheers Dave.

Aye Jim, I have done the test a couple of times before with no problems so not unduly worried. It is still a relief when the ‘all clear’ letter arrives though!

Same this way Jim & Pete, sent the required in to Cardiff where they test in Wales. I think anything such as these tests are worth doing, as they can do something about a problem if caught early, as in Jim’s case. Best of luck next month Jim.
Cheers Dave.
