Here in sunny Northampton no rain, until today we had a few drops, the flowers are in full bloom, the birds are building nest, and I have recieved a parcel from J Parkers with potato’s and plants & bulbs so I have been chittering the potato’s in egg cartons and put in my early’s soon.
We had to earth up our early potatoes the other day in case of a frost.

I reckon that Chris on the IOM would have been a very unhappy bunny to-day as when the tide went out a bit further than usual he had to allow thousands of visitors into his house for a look round. Anon1.

at exorbitant price to supplement his lavish lifestyle on’t Isle, that fellah could
mek money in’t Sahara selling sand to’t th’Arabs.

Harry and Dave are you lads going to BRS 66 do in July, my daughter said she would take me.
Sorry Norm, much as I would have liked to be there, I can’t. We already have something else on that weekend. Its a pity because it would be great to meet you and Harry. I also won’t make the Jacks Hill do either. Looking at the calender its only the Retro show in September that doesn’t clash with anything, so my truck show visits will be few this year.

Happen better that you don’t shatter any illusions that you may have Dave, it could scar your memory for life! Better to keep imagining that they all look like Matinee Idols (and I don’t mean Rin Tin Tin, Lassie or King Kong) than be disappointed…
