Did any of you watch Routemaster’s on TV last night showing the London buses, with some people using them to sleep on. They must have got money to pay for the bus fare.
Cheers Dave.

Well Dave ,   just think if a passenger went on a circular route and paid tuppence on the night buses, he could get a nights kip and be dropped off at work.chip digs.

hiya,
You’re giving me ideas Dave, get on the bus quite near my home a couple of changes
to get to Newcastle Airport have a shower grab an hours kip en-route, never need to
turn the boiler on ever again, come to think of it would I need a house I could live on
the bus I’d have to alight occasionally to eat and get my pension from the cashpoint
and these new buses are quite warm and comfortable, now all I’ve got to do is get the
missus in the same frame of mind and I can sell the house and be able to afford to
purchase all the single malt I’ll ever need, thanks Dave a great idea it’s being given a
good coat of looking at this very moment.
thanks harry, long retired.

One thing wrong with that idea, you need a address. To have a pension. Or a bank account.

hiya,

That should find me Norm.

Harry,   I do hope when your out walking,   you don’t get the urge to ■■■■ up leg up at every lamp post you go by! :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:    Or start growling at every man that has a young lady on his arm. :astonished: :astonished: :astonished:

As long as Harry doesn’t go sniffing at some Nun who happens to be passing, he might be OK Norm.
Cheers Dave.

Roll on winter :frowning: , I had to send the staff for some Factor 50 sun cream for my bald head. :open_mouth: Bloody hell, it cost a fortune, she’s blown the budget for the whole week.
I only wear my flat cap in winter.

hiya,
Welcome to the gramps club Ang piece of cake isn’t it ■■ not half the
hassle of being a parent and you can always hand them back when it
gets hard going that’s if you ever get home to do any babysitting, I
made a point of being away as much as possible when my own kids
were babies, not really, I did miss them growing up and did try to be
at home as much as I could for their first few months.

Dropped the youngest grandaughter yesterday, she’s 2 and a half so she bounced, I had picked her up and she slipped straight through, her mother had lathered her in sun block cream. No harm done, she yelpt a bit but it was that she was just a bit shocked that dozy old grandad had dropped her. Oops.

Try Calamine Lotion GOM,it cheap and has the right effect, although its a bit “chalkey”,leaves funny marks on your head when it dries!!
