hiya,
I’ve often thought that a living pension should be paid when leaving school
in my case aged 15 this should be paid with the cost of living thingy being
looked after until age 65, then a job should be found for the pensioner if
he hasn’t burned himself out by this time and he/her should be worked to
death, if the pensioner is well and truly knackered (and can prove it) he
should be able to carry on drawing the pension until natural progression is
reached and he/she falls off the perch.
thanks harry, long retired.

They won’t give you sweet FA Harry, these lot will squeeze every penny out of you.
And tell lies to line their own pockets as seems the case with a few revelations
coming out.
There isn’t many honest people in power these days.
Cheers Dave.

There are a lot of corrupt crooks in power today. :imp:
Us OAP’s got a not too bad rise in the state pension recently, I also have a small (£200 nett a month) private pension. Since the state pension increase the monthly payment on the private pension has reduced. I queried it…“because your tax code has changed, you’re paying a bit more tax”
The corrupt immoral bar steward crooks gave us a pension increase and they are taking it back by increasing our tax. :imp:
We are fed an endless diet of squeeze and cut backs, they are now wanting to close some of OUR wonderful National museums YET, the £12 billion (yes, BILLION) annual Foreign Aid budget is ring fenced, untouchable. And they are screwing old age pensioners for a bit more tax. £480 million to Pakistan, they have a nuclear and a space research programme AND they train terrorist who come here to kill us.
BAR STEWARDS. :imp: :imp: :imp:
HARRY…about that coal round for the wife…I need the details.

I quite agree with everything you said about this country Brian, it has gone to the dogs, absolutely ruined by successive governments over the last 30 years. They have sold everything off, and sold the people down the drain.
Cheers Dave.

Brian my pension is the same as yours the £5 odd rise on state pension was eroded by the excess tax just about, not even enough to buy a pint :open_mouth:
cheers Johnnie :frowning:

hiya,
Brian the job details will be dispatched under plain cover, along with my
old sandwich box and flask, that’ll save you a few bob.

If you want a good laugh, i am 50 british white and born here, had a spell in Nz/OZ but in total worked here for 26 full years. Now medical wreck and not able to drive even a 7.5 tonne, they took that too!
I struggle to walk up a flight of stairs due to a heart condition that started last year…from a cough, it nearly killed me, a twenty million to one chance the virus attacked my heart.
I get nothing at all from the state , zilch…i even have to pay for the drugs that keep me alive !
Not married but my GF is expected to keep me according to the govt. even had to pay for my dental work on a broken tooth. Yet in my last year at work in 2011 I paid £19k in tax two months before I collapsed.
I wish I had never returned in 2009 . This country is a joke, trucking in Oz and Nz is far more fun.

Hi 3 wheeler,
There must be an organisation in your area that will fight this for you. I am a director of a disabled organisation in Mid Wales and we fight for people who have been harshly treated by the system. Also act as advocates in these matters. Get hold of your citizens advice bureau in your area and they will signpost you to an organisation who will look into what you are entitled to.
Cheers Dave.

:imp: If I was younger I’d lead the revolution. There would be quite a few heads on spikes in Parliament Square.
Just think lads, the alternative to the present government would be that great double act "The Two Ed’s, (Balls and Miliband). Ed Balls, what a star, “borrow more to spend more”. Yep, that sounds a good idea Ed. :unamused:
Or, for those who like the ladies, another double act Yvette Cooper (Ed Balls wife) and Harriet Harman. Now those two really do scare me, mad as a box of frogs. :open_mouth:

Are you all sitting comfortably??
I see reported that “call me Dave” has given his backing to a new £15 million museum. “The Margaret Thatcher Museum and Library”. He says it should be built somewhere near to Westminster to honour he legacy.

Would like to see the figures for Maggies funeral and what the family’s
total contribution was, I’ll bet it was nothing, or at best a token.

They should make Tebbit and Cecil Parkinson and the rest of her cronies pay for that lot.
Cheers Dave.
